Our objective is to build a temple for Sri Sitaramachandra Swamy

Sri Sitarama Cultural Center is a not-for-profit organization that provides leadership and opportunities for members of the Hindu community of Greater Toronto Area in preserving, supporting and enhancing our cultural, religious, educational, societal, and other heritage-related needs.

Our objective is to build a temple for Sri Sitaramachandra Swamy, who stood to the highest ideals of Hindu culture and civilization. As well as a place that can play a significant role in preserving the culture and heritage & passing it to the next generations.

We would look to see it as a place where we all can gather and celebrate festivals like Ugadi, Srirama Navami, Vijaya Dasami, Deepavali, Sankranthi ..,

Motivation for the initiative

Srimaan Tatta Srinivasa Chakravarthi is an accomplished Vedic scholar, Priest, and Teacher who has created numerous students through his pravachanams on Srimad Ramayanam, Srimad Bhagavatham, and Bhagavadgita.

Srimaan Chakravarthi garu devoted his life to Lord Sri Sitaramachandra swami by performing various Vedic rituals and kalynams. His unique and exemplary explanation of Vedic rituals helped many families in GTA understanding and performing rituals in the appropriate way.

Help our Cause

All Temple activities, including development of facilities, are fully funded from donations and contributions from devotees and the community. We need your kind and generous support in the form of financial contributions, as well as volunteer work to make the various programs, including the major objective of this initiative which is the temple development project, a reality.
